Last Fall I spent some time traveling in Italy. I remember sitting on the train from Roma to Venezia listening to my music and it didnt matter the beautiful scenery that speed past...my thoughts always seemed to drift. The inspiration is "I WDUV You...too. Take this vulnerable journey with me...its a yummy one! Thank you once again to my Pod Friends and all the love notes you send my way. As seconds turned into weeks
Weeks progressed into months...
At some point...into years
I wake...each day already understanding
The range of emotions I will feel...
Disappointment, Heartbreak, Emptiness...Anger
Eventually...forgiveness and understanding...
As I cherish the experience...(Sniff Sniff)...smile
And realize that music...my scarlett letter...
Ties my thoughts to you with no escape...

Lying in the sand, letting the sun warm my skin
Im halfway into a dream, but I turn my head to see your here
I see this beautiful man gazing at me...lying close...
A smile crosses your lips & I let the reflection linger in my eyes
Have the moon & stars finally aligned my path to yours?
The perfect man...the perfect day...the most perfect moment..

I feel so alive next to you, every inch of my body sensitive to your presence
My thoughts reminisce of this morning, somewhere deep within I stir...
The scent of your candle...The dampness of our shower...
The gentleness of your touch...The softness of your lips...
The insanity I feel as you explore & taste my honey like spot...
My comfort in your arms as you make love to me for the first time...
Seems like the hunger I thought would satisfy has only ignited...sweet lover...

I linger in the words of our conversation...unwritten...
Quite taken back by the intensity of these emotions
Admittedly unprepared for how I feel...& keep falling for you
Write our names in the sand...Mo Anam Cara...
For being with you is more fulfilling than any sweet dream...
I must have you...all of you...not for a moment...not for a day
But I surrender my heart to you...until lights go out..

Happy Valentine's Day....what is better than a day dedicated to love? And what better occasion than to share a sweet side of Poetic Justice? 'Fade to Dark' is something I wrote a few years back - everytime I read it I feel like I am still sitting on the beach sharing an experiece and memorizing every detail as I wrote this to memory before my words ever reached paper.  XOXO...PJ

Saturday was 'Date' night in the circle of friends we hung out with. I had just turned 21 and "freshly" single, my roomie was a bit older and was going through a divorce...so we were left to tend to our broken hearts alone...haha! She would do this by getting us trashed on 'Malibu Rum' and shots of 'After Shock'...LMAO. Her Auntie would come scoop us up and take us to chill with the 'Grown & Sexy' people at 'Heartbreak Alley'....Hampton VA baby!!

The DJ kept it hot...could never get me off the dance floor. At the end of the night he would slow it down...the first time a 'Grown & Sexy' pulled me close and through it on me during the slow down....mmmmm...was the last time I sulked over 'Saturday' date night. =)
